About

When I first decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science, I had no idea that I would eventually find myself so deeply drawn to the field of Artificial Intelligence. My journey with Artificial Intelligence began during my undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering, where I was fortunate enough to work on a final year project that involved creating a  Face Mask Detector application. This project was not only an opportunity for me to gain practical experience with AI, but it also sparked my love for the field. From that point on, I was determined to continuously improve my skills and knowledge through reading articles, participating in Kaggle competitions, and sharing my work with the community by uploading Jupyter notebooks to GitHub and Kaggle. Through this process, I received feedback and learned from others in the field, and I was able to drive my own learning and growth, honing my skills and contributing to the advancement of the field.

As a result, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Computing with a Major in Artificial Intelligence. It was during this time that I had the opportunity to take a Practicum in NLP, and it was this experience that truly solidified my passion for the field.

I found the challenge of creating algorithms and models that can accurately summarize text to be incredibly rewarding, and I was struck by the potential of this technology to make information more accessible and understandable to a wider audience. I also realized that there is so much more to be explored in this field and that the possibilities are endless. I was particularly drawn to the complex and dynamic nature of human language and the ways in which it can be used to create more intelligent and intuitive machines.

It was during this time that I realized that I wanted to do more. I wanted to further deepen my understanding of Artificial Intelligence and contribute to the advancement of this field.
